Followup: High school
Hot on the heels of writing a bit about my mate Bill and my own high school experiences, I sent off an email to [Julian](http://levork.org/) basically saying “hi”. I got a reply today:
Coincidentally, my girlfriend and I were leafing through my high school yearbook yesterday, reading the few comments, one of which was yours. After ten years I can say in response to your writing: I’m no longer short, and have grown up, thank you.
I vaguely remember writing something about being short and young in his yearbook. I was such a dickhead. But most of us were, I think. He’s also given me some updates on what some people are doing. David Green, for example, is at MIT and holds claim to the world’s bluest website – I actually had to turn down the brightness on my screen when I was looking through his site. Leon Jang is a civil servant in Ottawa, and he looks just like he did in high school. As far as I know, none of us are married yet. Julian’s got a girlfriend, I almost married once, and who knows what kinky weird things David’s up to at MIT.
