Male contraceptive pill

About bloody time. The whole long-term birth control thing has been unfairly placed on women for far too long. And “The Pill” has all kinds of nasty side-effects, from allegations of being a carcinogen to [lowering sex drive](http://www.twincities.com/mld/pioneerpress/living/6621999.htm) to facilitating even stranger mood swings. I’m trying to find information online about a study that was done a while back that showed that women on the pill also become less promiscuous and more interested in steady relationships than those who are not on the pill.

Anyway, some scientists are working on a male version of the pill which is apparently without side effects (yeah right) and will be available in pill form in just a few years.

As someone who doesn’t want kids, this is another way to ensure that I don’t get any nasty surprises, and it’s not as extreme as the old snip-snip.
