WTF is a “MacBook Pro”?

So they announced something called a [MacBook Pro](http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/)  . Did they have a focus group sitting around trying to think of the worst-sounding name possible? What were they thinking? I understand wanting to put the word “Mac” into the name somehow, but come on! There’s got to be a better way.

They took away the S-Video plug, removed the PC Card slot, and killed Firewire 800. Sure it’s faster, and there’s a camera, but how can Apple put a “Pro” label on something that is basically an iBook in a metal case? I don’t particularly want this thing, my current PowerBook G4 is not only more functional, but it’s got a better freekin’ name.

Me? I’m waiting for the first revision.

PS: No plasma screens. Oh well.
