Yet another gadget I wantwantwant

\<!\[CDATA *El Reg*  has a story about [Sony’s new Electronic Book Thing](http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/01/05/sony_prs-500/)  recently introduced at CES. It’s got one of those ePaper screens, long battery life, and Sony’s ubiquitous Memory Stick slot. It reads a bunch of useful file formats, and it’s a freekin’ gadget! I’ve got lots of books in digital format on my computer, and it would be great to have them in a gadget that I can walk around with and read on the tram. 

And as an added bonus, it kinda looks like a Newton.]]>
