Email to Posterous overlords

Hi,

First: I love your service. The “just email us” thing is excellent, but I like that you do smart things with what gets sent to you: pictures become albums, YouTube links become embedded videos, etc. Very nice.

The *only* thing stopping me from scrapping my self-hosted Wordpress installation and going all-Posterous, all-the-time is text formatting: There doesn’t seem to be any. I have the Textile plugin for Wordpress and like it, but really, *anything* will do. I’d like to be able to embolden, italicise, even undeline words. Creating subheadings and blockquotes within posts would be good too. Typographical niceties like smart quotes and ligatures would just be icing on the cake.
