Toby, our resident IT guy, is leaving us after nine excellent years at PBS. His job is not an easy one – he fixes all our computer problems and as far as we’re concerned, he’s some kind of genius. If you have mad computer skills and are interested in this position, we would love to hear from you. PBS 106.7FM IT Support position

PBS 106.7FM is an iconic music station with a proud 30 year history of broadcasting a wide range of music seldom heard elsewhere – gospel, reggae, blues, country, jazz, soul, rock, metal, electronic, hip hop, world and film soundtracks, just to name a few – by announcers who are generally considered experts in their field. PBS has a small core of paid staff and a large team of volunteers who contribute to all areas of the station. All staff at PBS have the opportunity to work closely with each of the other departments and as such need to be flexible in their approach to work, excellent team players and very self-motivated.

PBS is looking for a mid level systems administrator to covers a wide range of support services, from day to day Windows client administration through to Linux server maintenance. The person accepting this role will need to be familiar with the maintenance duties required for running multiple Samba servers in a busy enterprise environment. Skills needed: Windows XP Office 2007 Debian/Ubuntu Linux Network administration
