Music Sales by medium

This is really interesting stuff. LPs have this interesting recent uptick in sales, cassette singles peaked a year or two before CDs did - and the recent gains in downloaded music doesn’t begin to offset the losses in CD sales. People just aren’t buying CDs anymore.
This kind-of mirrors my own behaviour. In the late 90s, I was buying CDs by the tonne. More recently, I buy music online - almost always in complete albums, not singles.
