Visualising Victorian Data

Slightly weird interface aside, this is a pretty cool way to visualise statistics about areas of Victoria. For example, I learnt that in my LGA (Port Phillip), there’s not much correlation between high income earners and people who take public transport - at least when looking at averages. There is, however a fairly good correlation between availability of public transport and use of public transport - except for the light rail line that goes to Port Melbourne.
Anyway - have fun, kids: http://www.vic.gov.au/visualplace/map.html
(No fun if you don’t have Silverlight installed though. Boo.)
