The Arcade Fire pushes ahead the state of the art
The immersive experience around their song “The Wilderness Downtown” is a stunningly beautiful and poignant bit of interactive art. It reminds me of some of the stuff Peter Gabriel and Laurie Anderson were doing with the Voyager CD-ROM company, back when that was the promising new interactive medium.
Incidentally, it’s all done in HTML5 - no Flash used at all. You’ll need a modern browser.
