It's official: Nokia bets on Microsoft for smartphones
Nokia will adopt Windows Mobile as its main smartphone platform in a wide-ranging agreement with Microsoft.
I forget which big-dinosaur merger that this originally referred to, or even which technology pundit said it (I’m totally useless, I know), but Nokisoft brings back memories of bad decisions.
Both companies are past their primes, with hardware and software that’s rapidly becoming irrelevant. They will cling to each other as they fall off the cliff, like Wile E Coyote and a missile. They’ll provide comfort to each other in their declining years.
Welcome to the losers club.
