I’d heard of this very long memo before, but I’d never read it until today. In it, Jeffrey Katzenberg (who was then head of film for Disney) talks about reinventing the studio, to bring it back to its roots, back to what made it great. He talks about the success paradox and the early warning signs of trouble.

It’s an excellent read, and while it’s Hollywood-focussed, the lessons can really be applied to anything. Nice Walt Disney quote partway through, too.
